4/07- Brown Fork Shelter to Fontana Dam Shelter "Fontana Hilton" 12.8 miles, mile marker 166. (Will send photos of shelter)
Started at the shelter and hiked almost 13 miles to mile marker 166. Not sure exactly but I think Seth has done the 166 plus the 8 miles of the approach trail. Bruce is at 99 miles. They made it to the Fontana Hilton or otherwise know as the Fontana Dam shelter. They had dinner and was able to get a shower. There were several at the shelter so a lot of company and down time. The lake is beautiful and this is one of the better shelters so this was a good day.
